Pick a Random Number in a Range or Draw a Winner From a List
This tool has two modes. Number mode returns one or more whole numbers between a minimum and a maximum. List mode takes a pasted list of names or options and picks the winners.
Number Mode
Set the minimum, the maximum, and how many results you want. With a range of 1 to 20 and 5 results, one run might return:
17, 4, 20, 9, 12
Use it for dice rolls in tabletop games, lottery-style draws, random sampling from a numbered set, or picking a revision order. Each roll is independent, so duplicate numbers can appear unless you disable them. The quantity field accepts up to 1,000 numbers in one run, and if you ask for more unique numbers than the range holds, the tool says so instead of repeating values.
List Mode
Paste one item per line, for example a list of giveaway entrants, and set how many winners to pick:

Marcus
Dana
Leo
Set the pick count to 2 and the output is a pair of names such as Dana and Marcus, drawn without replacement. Picking several items in one pass returns them in a random order, so the same run can assign presentation slots as well as name a winner.
Numbers use your browser's Math.random, the same generator behind ordinary games and casual draws. It is not a cryptography source, so for passwords, tokens, or anything security related, use the Password Generator instead.
Everything is computed on your device. A pasted list of employee names or customer entries is not uploaded, but follow your own organisation's rules when handling personal data.

How to Draw Random Numbers With No Repeats
Uncheck the duplicate box in Number mode and each number is removed from the pool the moment it is drawn, so a run can never return the same value twice. The catch is that the range has to be big enough to cover the request. Draw 5 unique numbers from 1 to 20 and every result is distinct, for example 17, 4, 9, 12, 20. Ask for 11 unique numbers from 1 to 10 and the tool stops with an error instead of quietly repeating a value or ignoring part of your request, because 10 distinct values cannot fill 11 slots.
That behaviour makes the mode a practical shuffler. Paste 24 names into List mode, set the count to 24, and the output is all 24 in random order, which is a quick way to build a presentation order or a draft order for a league. Set the count higher than the number of lines and it caps at the list length rather than looping back to the top.
What Changes When You Allow Duplicates
Leave the duplicate box checked and every draw is independent, which is the right model for dice and for anything that should behave like a slot machine. It also means collisions are normal rather than a bug. Draw 20 numbers from 0 to 999 and the chance that at least two of them match is close to 18 percent, because 20 values spread across 1,000 possible outcomes collide far more often than intuition suggests. If a duplicate would ruin the draw, uncheck the box so uniqueness is enforced for you.
How the Bounds Are Read
The two bound fields accept decimals and are adjusted before the range is built. The minimum is rounded up and the maximum is rounded down, so entering a minimum of 1.5 and a maximum of 9.9 draws from 2 through 9. An inverted range, where the minimum is larger than the maximum, produces an error message instead of an unexpected value. Up to 1,000 numbers can be requested in a single run.
The draws use the browser's Math.random, which is the same generator behind ordinary games and giveaways but is not a source for anything security related.
