How Many Words Are in Three Paragraphs of Lorem Ipsum

The default is three paragraphs with the classic opening turned on, and this generator always produces between three and five sentences per paragraph, cycling through a fixed pool of ten Latin sentences. Here is exactly what that setting returns:

That is 65 words, then 67, then 61, for 193 words in total. A landing page hero, a three-card row, and a short testimonial usually fit inside that without editing.

Why the First Paragraph Repeats Itself

With the classic opening enabled, the first sentence of the pool is added in front of the first paragraph even though that same sentence already begins the paragraph, so you see it twice in a row. It is cosmetic and it is deliberate in the sense that the opening is guaranteed rather than left to the sentence cycle. Turn the classic opening off if the duplication bothers you, or delete the second sentence by hand. Everything else about the output is deterministic: the same count and unit always produce the same text, which is useful when you need the identical filler across several mockups.

Limits Worth Knowing Before You Paste

The count box accepts from 1 to 20 of whatever unit you selected, and a value above 20 is clamped to 20 rather than rejected. Word mode takes the first N words from the joined pool, so asking for 20 words gives the opening chunk of 19 words and then the twentieth word of the next sentence. Sentence mode repeats the pool once you ask for more than ten sentences, so eleven sentences means the first one appears again at the end. Filler text is generated on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.
